Hi, I'm Alex.

I'm a Seattle-based photographer passionate about capturing visual stories and meaningful moments for the people I work with. While I also love exploring travel and nature photography, my greatest inspiration has always been human connection. After more than 15 years of freelance photography, my goals have evolved in many ways—but one thing has always remained constant: my desire to connect with people and help them feel truly seen.

My relationship with photography began when I was 12 years old at a summer camp photography class. That was where I first learned how to use a film camera and develop photos in a darkroom. I spent my days photographing people and documenting the world around me, fascinated by how a single image could hold a story.

At the time, I didn’t realize photography would become a thread woven throughout my life—something that would continually draw me back in, no matter where I was or what I was doing.

Photography has always been about connection for me. I believe the best images happen when people feel comfortable, safe, and able to be themselves in front of the lens.

Whether it’s a boudoir session focused on self-love and sensual expression or an adventurous day spent photographing a family and their little ones, my goal is always the same: to create a welcoming space where people feel seen, celebrated, and free to show up as they are.
